Telangana State Minority Finance Corporation (TSMFC) Empowers Minority Drivers with Cars Distribution

Hyderabad : Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali handed over 20 cars to minority drivers as part of the Driver Empowerment Programme organized by the Telangana State Minority Finance Corporation (TSMFC). The programme aims to provide better livelihood opportunities for unemployed and eligible minority youth in Telangana by enabling them to become cab owners. The beneficiaries received Maruti Suzuki Tour S model cars during the distribution ceremony.

Imtiaz Ishaq, expressing gratitude, praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for implementing the Driver Empowerment Programme and emphasized the government’s commitment to the development and welfare of minorities in the state. He highlighted the significant steps taken in the past nine years to promote education, economic growth, and social development among minority communities, which is unparalleled in the country.

Imtiaz Ishaq further stated that the government is actively working on providing self-employment opportunities to minority youth, with loan disbursement in its final stages. He assured that the loans would be distributed soon to support their entrepreneurial endeavors.

The TSMFC has actively engaged in various initiatives aimed at supporting minority communities and contributing to their overall development, apart from car distribution. During the initial phase of the Driver Empowerment Programme in 2019-20, the government sanctioned 300 cars for unemployed minority drivers across all districts of the state. With the recent distribution, a total of 280 cars have been provided to minority drivers, benefiting their economic prospects.

The distribution event held at the Haj House in Nampally saw the presence of TS Minority Finance Corporation Chairman Mohd Imtiaz Ishaq, MLAs Jaffer Hussain Meraj (Nampally) and Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala (Malakpet), TS Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Saleem, and other dignitaries. The TSMFC remains committed to the development and upliftment of minority communities in Telangana through its ongoing efforts.
