Hyderabad: In the wake of the tragic Jaipur Express Terror Attack that claimed the life of Hyderabad resident Syed Saifullah, Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao took a compassionate step forward. On Friday, he revealed that each of Saifullah’s three daughters would receive financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). The Minister also disclosed that the State Government would extend support by offering the deceased’s wife a job opportunity and a two-bedroom residence.
Expressing deep condolences and unequivocally denouncing the communal clash that led to the untimely demise of Syed Saifullah, KTR underlined that the instigators behind incidents like the ones in Manipur, Haryana, and Jaipur were widely recognized across the nation. He lamented the unfortunate turn of events, emphasizing his personal dismay over the loss of an innocent man who had been striving to earn a livelihood.
In solidarity with the sentiments voiced by MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, KTR pledged swift action. He declared that orders for providing employment and a two-bedroom house to the victim’s widow would be issued promptly, with options including placements in GHMC, HMDA, or Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority. The IT Minister also committed to taking up the matter of financial assistance from the Government’s end, indicating that he would engage with the Chief Minister to secure this support.
Syed Saifullah, aged 43 and a resident of Hyderabad, was identified as one of the victims in the tragic incident aboard the Jaipur-Mumbai Central Superfast Express on July 31, 2023.
