Filmmaker Sudeep Kanwal shared his approach to the screenplay, emphasizing his desire to maintain a realistic tone in ‘Privacy’ rather than veering towards a techno-noir style. The focus lies on the characters rather than the technology itself. The filmmakers intentionally grounded the film’s visual elements, such as the control room design, makeup, and costumes, to enhance authenticity. They actively sought out real locations whenever possible and encouraged the actors to immerse themselves in the lives of individuals with similar lifestyles and professions as their characters.
