Commentator Danny Morrison asked MSDhoni if this would be his last IPL season 2023, to which Dhoni replied with a smile, stating that he had never made any official statements on the matter.
Sehwag, who never won an IPL title, has stated that even if this is Dhoni’s last season, there is no need to ask him about it. Sehwag thinks that Dhoni should make the decision and that everyone should allow him to do so .Former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif has also highlighted Dhoni’s significance in the CSK camp. Kaif has pointed out that Dhoni is playing as a mentor rather than a player and is constantly teaching the youngsters. Dhoni wants every player to perform well under his guidance, making the team’s job easier.
