Hyderabad: In a significant development, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD), KTR, inaugurated the skywalk in Uppal and the convention hall within the premises of Mini Shilparamam, Uppal. The skywalk aims to ensure the safe passage of pedestrians, particularly children, women, and senior citizens, across the bustling Uppal crossroads.

During the inauguration ceremony, which witnessed a massive gathering, Minister KT Rama Rao highlighted the significance of the skywalk and its role in enhancing pedestrian safety. Moreover, he emphasized the government’s commitment to providing uninterrupted power supply, clean drinking water, 2BHK houses to the underprivileged, and KCR kits to over 13 lakh women. He expressed dismay at certain politicians from the BJP and Congress who continue to cast doubts on the Chief Minister’s efforts despite the numerous developmental initiatives and welfare schemes implemented for the betterment of the people.
The convention hall in Uppal, developed at a cost of Rs 10 crore, stands as a spacious venue capable of accommodating 1,000 individuals. It boasts essential amenities, including a dining hall, lawn, and other facilities, providing a versatile space for various events and gatherings.
The inauguration of the skywalk and convention hall signifies the Telangana government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and ensuring the welfare and safety of its citizens.
