Malayalam Actor and Mimicry Artist Kollam Sudhi Passes Away at 39

In a heartbreaking incident, Malayalam actor and talented mimicry artist, Kollam Sudhi, lost his life in a car accident. At around 4:30 a.m. on Monday morning, the artist, aged 39, collided in a tragic accident. His car collided with a goods carrier, resulting in severe injuries for Sudhi and three other accompanying mimicry artists named Binu Adimali, Ullas, and Mahesh.

According to reports, Sudhi and his fellow artists were returning home after a successful event in Vatakara when the accident occurred. Sudhi suffered a critical head injury in the collision. Despite receiving immediate medical attention at a private hospital in Kodungallur, he tragically succumbed to his injuries. The injured artists are currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.

The police confirmed a head-on collision and promptly transported all the individuals involved to the hospital. Sadly, Sudhi could not survive, while the other three artists are currently undergoing medical care.

Kollam Sudhi, renowned for his exceptional mimicry skills, won the hearts of many through his impersonation of actor Jagadeesh. After Sudhi’s appearance on the Star Magic show, he gained immense popularity, and organizers invited him as a guest performer on several Malayalam comedy shows.

Sudhi made his debut on the big screen with the 2015 film “Kanthari,” directed by Ajmal. Following that, he appeared in several movies, including “Swargathile Katturumbu Kollam,” “Escape,” “Kuttanadan Marppappa,” and “Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan.” Sudhi had a significant presence in films, but his television appearances garnered adoration and high appreciation.

Sudhi Chetta, who was born on January 1, 1984, in Kollam, Kerala, India, went by the names Sudhi, Kollam Sudi, or Kollam Sudhi. His untimely demise has left the entertainment industry and his fans in shock and mourning.

The loss of Kollam Sudhi is a significant blow to the Malayalam film and television fraternity. We will deeply miss his exceptional talent and infectious charisma. May he rest in peace, and may his family find strength in this difficult time.
