In J&K, Army helicopter makes an emergency landing; one crew member dies.

On Thursday, an Indian Army helicopter made a precautionary landing in the Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir as a result of a malfunction, killing a flight mechanic and injuring two other pilots, according to officials.

Jammu: According to reports, an Indian Army helicopter made a precautionary landing in the Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, killing a flight mechanic and injuring two other pilots.

The flight technician, known as Craftsman (Aviation Technology) Paballa Anil, passed away in the hospital from the injuries he sustained. Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, the commander of the Northern Army, and every member of the Northern Command, along with their deepest condolences to the bereaved family, paid tribute to CFN (Avn Tech) Pabballa Anil’s supreme sacrifice while operating an ALH MK III near Kishtwar.

At the Army’s Command Hospital in Udhampur town, the two pilots hurt in this accident are receiving medical attention.
