Hyderabad : In advance of the film’s release, Dil Raju and producer Allu Aravind unveiled the trailer for Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha. He said with assurance that the movie will be a sure-fire hit at the premiere of the trailer. After Virupaksha’s success, Dil Raju now remembers his earlier remarks.
In just under 10 days, the worldwide box office revenue for the film reached 70 crores. At the US box office, the movie has more than 1.5 million dollars in the bank. Now on the verge of joining the 100 crore club, Virupaksha. Yesterday in Hyderabad, the creators of Virupaksha had a “thank you” meeting. As the main guest, Dil Raju attended the celebration.
Dil Raju stated, “I predicted Virupaksha’s success with the first look itself,” while speaking at the occasion. Every piece of marketing collateral the filmmaker, Karthik Dandu, issued garnered a positive response from the public, as I observed. From the beginning till the day of release, they captured their attention. And finally, we can see how well the movie did today. With the pan-Indian release, Virupaksha will undoubtedly receive a comparable response in Hindi and other languages.
This Friday, Virupaksha will be made available in additional languages. This will make it easy for the movie to pass the $100 million threshold.
