Hyderabad: In preparation for the 77th Independence Day celebrations, the Hyderabad Police has released a comprehensive advisory to ensure smooth traffic management at Rani Mahal Lawns, Golconda Fort, Hyderabad, on August 15, 2023, from 7 am to 12 noon. The advisory encompasses strategic road closures and parking arrangements, aimed at facilitating the secure and organized conduct of the event.
The advisory outlines specific measures for traffic regulation and parking allocation:
- The road from Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort will be temporarily closed to general vehicular traffic from 7 am to 12 noon on August 15, 2023.
- The entry from Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort will be reserved exclusively for A (Gold), A (Pink), and B (Blue) car pass holders invited to the Independence Day Celebrations– 2023, including the Flag hoisting ceremony from 7 am to 11 am on August 15, 2023.
The advisory further elaborates on parking arrangements based on different car pass categories:
- “A (Gold)” Car pass holders will park on the main road in front of the Fort main Gate, specifically toward Fateh Darwaza Road.
- “A (Pink)” Car pass holders will be directed to utilize the Golconda Bus stop parking, conveniently situated approximately 50 meters away from the fort’s main gate.
- “B (Blue)” car pass holders are assigned parking at the Football/Boys ground, accessible by taking a right turn near Golconda Bus stop.
- “C (Green)” Car Pass holders from distinct routes are directed to park their vehicles at specific locations, such as Owaisi Ground and GHMC PlayGround.
- “D (Red)” Car Pass holders will follow a designated route and park at Priyadarshini School.
- General public attendees (“E” passes) will access designated parking areas and can avail themselves of the provided RTC buses for transportation to and from the event.
Detailed instructions are provided for exit routes for different car pass holders, ensuring a smooth traffic flow post-celebrations.
