Hyderabad – In a heartfelt gesture on his 47th birthday, BRS Working President and Industries Minister, KT Rama Rao, has taken a meaningful step towards supporting orphan students. The Minister has decided to provide laptops and intensive coaching to 94 deserving students from the State Home at Yousufguda, with the aim of paving the way for a brighter future for these young minds.
Expressing his commitment to the cause, KT Rama Rao called upon party leaders and workers to join him in supporting orphan children in their own unique ways, encouraging them to forego extravagant spending on advertisements.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, the Minister shared his vision for the #GiftASmile initiative, which involves personally sponsoring 47 meritorious children from 10th or 12th grades and an additional 47 students pursuing professional courses. Each of the selected students will receive a laptop and benefit from two years of intensive coaching from esteemed institutes, providing them with essential tools to realize their aspirations.
KT Rama Rao’s heartfelt remark acknowledged the resilience and determination of these exceptional young achievers, who have not let adversity hinder their pursuit of success. As wards of the State, the Minister recognized the need to offer them support, and he expressed confidence in the capacity of BRS party colleagues to contribute to this noble cause.
