Godavari Districts– The political temperature soars in Andhra Pradesh with the onset of the 2024 assembly elections, party leaders are wasting no time in kicking off their campaign trails. TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu has launched his election campaigns, taking aim at CM YS Jagan, whom he claims is already prepared for the battle. Joining the fray, Nara Lokesh from the TDP is set to make his presence felt in the coming days. Meanwhile, YS Sharmila of the Congress has been traversing the state on behalf of her party.
Janasena Party led by Pawan Kalyan has announced its entry into the field. Kalyan is scheduled to visit both Godavari districts from February 14 onwards, according to a disclosure made by the Janasena party. The tour itinerary, spanning from the 14th to the 17th of this month, will see Kalyan participating in various meetings across Bhimavaram, Amalapuram, Kakinada, and Rajahmundry.
During his visit, Kalyan plans to engage with the party’s key leaders, local activists, and personalities. meetings are also scheduled with leaders of the Telugu Desam Party, aiming to foster a sense of unity and collaboration between the two parties at the constituency level, with hopes of achieving positive results through an alliance.
Janasena has outlined its tour plans in three phases. The initial phase involves meetings with key leaders, followed by engagement with active activists and women in the second phase. Finally, the third phase will focus on a full-fledged election campaign. However, the party is ensuring comprehensive coverage by planning to visit each area thrice before the official campaign commences.
Following the Godavari districts tour, the Janasena Party’s campaign committee is gearing up to finalize plans for visits to other regions. With the political landscape heating up, the state braces itself for a dynamic and closely contested electoral battle in the days to come.
