Hyderabad- Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy issued a challenge to Ministers Harish Rao and K Tarakarama Rao, daring them to prove that they had provided 24 hours of free electricity to farmers. He went further, pledging to resign from his post if they could demonstrate even 15 hours of daily power supply.
Venkat Reddy expressed his skepticism towards Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, declaring that the days of unquestioning faith in him were over. He confidently asserted that the Congress party would ascend to power in Telangana.
The MP also commented on the Dalit Bandhu and BC Bandhu schemes, suggesting that their prominence was due to the upcoming elections. He held the BRS Government responsible for the tragic suicide of Home Guard D Ravinder, who protested against the non-regularization of services and delayed salary payments.
Highlighting an important event on September 17, Venkat Reddy called for the success of a public meeting featuring Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and other senior leaders. He hinted at Sonia Gandhi unveiling five guarantees for Telangana, which the Congress party would fulfill once they assumed power in the upcoming Assembly elections.
