Chandrababu Naidu Set to Present Rs 1 Lakh Bond and Sureties at CID Office for Anticipatory Bails

AMARAVATI- Former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Babu, who secured anticipatory bail in the Inner Ring Road, Sand, and Liquor scams from the Andhra Pradesh High Court, is set to present himself at the APCID office in Guntur on Saturday. This move follows the court’s directive for Chandrababu Naidu to submit a Rs 1 lakh bond and sureties to formalize the three bails.

Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to arrive at Gannavaram airport from Hyderabad around 11:30 am, after which he will proceed to the CID office in Guntur at 3:30 pm. The Andhra Pradesh High Court granted anticipatory bail to the former Chief Minister last Wednesday in cases related to the Inner Ring Road (IRR), free sand, and liquor licenses. These cases were registered against him by the AP CID at the ACB Special Court.

Justice T Mallikharjuna Rao, who had earlier reserved the judgment, delivered the verdict. While granting bail, the court directed Chandrababu Naidu to make himself available for any further questioning by the authorities. This development adds a new chapter to the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the prominent political figure.
