Bhuvaneswari Promises Establishment of Anna Canteens in Guntur

N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife, N Bhuvaneswari, assured the public of the establishment of Anna Canteens if the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) regains power. The announcement came during the inauguration of an Anna Canteen organized by TDP leaders in Revendrapadu village, Duggirala mandal, within the Mangalagiri Assembly constituency.

Bhuvaneswari visited Revendrapadu village as part of the “Nijam Gelavali” initiative on Tuesday. During her address, she fondly recalled the contributions of her father, NT Rama Rao, who had introduced the Rs 2-a-kg rice scheme. This initiative played a pivotal role in ensuring affordable food for the people.

Highlighting the TDP’s commitment to public welfare, Bhuvaneswari mentioned that the TDP government had previously set up Anna Canteens in 2018. Currently, TDP leaders are overseeing the operation of 140 Anna Canteens across the state.

As the TDP gears up for potential electoral victories, the promise of reinstating Anna Canteens reflects the party’s dedication to social welfare initiatives and affordable food distribution.

The inauguration event in Revendrapadu village showcased the TDP’s continued focus on grassroots connections and community engagement.
