Bhadrachalam– The Ayodhya Rama Mandir Trust has reportedly not extended an invitation to the Lord Rama temple in Bhadrachalam, often referred to as South Ayodhya, for the upcoming Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha event scheduled for January 22. Expressing discontent, devotees of Lord Rama have voiced their displeasure against the Ayodhya Trust for not sending an invitation to the significant event.
Temple officials have unequivocally stated that, as of now, they have not received an invitation for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Despite this absence, the temple authorities remain committed to marking the occasion with special events, including a Shoba Yatra and other traditional ceremonies on the designated day.
Amidst the controversy, a dedicated follower of Lord Rama accused the BJP government of showing favoritism towards North Ayodhya over South Ayodhya, using the absence of an invitation as an example. He underscored the historical significance of Lord Rama’s visit during Vanavasam and alleged negligence in the development of the Bhadrachalam temple.
Responding to the situation, Union Minister BL Verma, who recently visited the temple, expressed unawareness of the issue and assured that he would inform the trust about the oversight. Despite completing preparations within a week, the Lord Rama temple in Bhadrachalam is yet to receive the awaited invitation, causing concern among devotees.
